Wheel-end service relies on a central rotating structure, and the Meritor Hub Assembly provides that support point at the axle end. It carries the wheel mounting area while working with bearings and related hardware as the vehicle rolls under load. A hub assembly is used when the repair focuses on the wheel-end center rather than the brake rotor, caliper, or axle shaft. At the rotating support location, the Meritor A333V1816 brings the hub section back into the assembly.
