COLE HERSEE part description
Rheostat Switches provide variable intensity control of defroster fan motors and heater blowers.
All products listed in this section can be found in Section D of the Cole Hersee D-275 CATALOG.
- Four positions: Off-High-Medium-Low.
- 12V DC
- 3 Ohms.
- Two screw terminals.
- Coil embedded in ceramic insulator for effective heat dissipation.
- Connections are welded to the resistance coil.
- Plastic round/bar knob with metal insert and set screwA threaded fastener typically used to hold a sleeve, collar or gear on a shaft to prevent relative motion. You can find it on several Cole Hersee brand knobs, many of which have a metal sleeve with set screw to insure reliable operation. A set screw normally does not have a head. Various socket types are provided to allow the set screw to be rotated. These types include hexagon socket, fluted socket, screwdriver slot and square head. .
- Mount through a 5/8" hole (15.9mm) or with an optional bracket.
