MEI A/C Receiver Drier

In Volvo truck A/C systems, the MEI A/C Receiver Drier sits in the liquid line to strip moisture and debris from refrigerant before it reaches the expansion valve. The MEI 7159 uses a 3-inch by 9-inch steel canister with 3/8-inch #6 male insert O-ring fittings at both ends to match those liquid-line connections. It also carries a top sight glass, letting a technician check refrigerant flow while the system runs. A side pressure relief valve and a 1/4-inch male switch port complete the canister, so relief and control connections come in one part.
