Meritor Air Brake Reservoir Pressure Relief Valve

The Meritor Air Brake Reservoir Pressure Relief Valve manages excess air pressure within the brake reservoir during system operation. When pressure rises beyond acceptable levels, the valve opens to release air and prevent system overload. This action occurs automatically and resets once pressure returns to normal. The valve remains inactive during regular operation and responds only to pressure changes. It functions continuously as part of the air brake safety system.
