Meritor Drive Axle Breather and Tube Kit

The Meritor Drive Axle Breather and Tube Kit provides controlled ventilation for drive axle differential housings. It installs at the axle breather port where pressure created by heated lubricant vapor must escape. It features a vent hose that routes the breather opening above the axle housing to reduce exposure to mud, water, and road debris. This elevated routing allows expanding air within the differential to exit the housing safely as internal temperatures rise. With the Meritor KIT2902 connected to the axle vent port, the breather tube directs pressure away from the housing while shielding the vent opening from contamination.
