Have an old Snap-On truck, 2003 Freightliner MT45 / 5.9L. The valve on the fuel canister began leaking and I replaced the o-rings, still leaking. Tried to put a screw with thread tape to plug it. No go. Tried to seal the drain with JB Weld, didn't work. The # on my canister is FS-1268 and I am only able to find FS-1269. Will that work? Can I get just the damn release valve? Your photos don't show both electrical connections, so I wanted to make sure it's a replacement for the 1268.
Part number FS1268 is just the element, It has since been replaced by part number FS19579, the housing that was used with this filter is FS1269, FS19586, FS1257, FS1259, and FS1263
