Riding noticeably harsher than usual over bumps, despite normal air pressure, can point to a ContiTech Air Suspension Spring that's stiffened internally rather than a shock or valve problem. Rubber that's absorbed years of heat cycling and road contamination gradually loses the flexibility that gave the ride its cushioning in the first place. The ContiTech 601536 replaces that stiffened bellows at an 18 by 12 by 12 inch installed size, matching the envelope the mounting brackets were built around. Fresh rubber restores the cushioning air pressure alone can't provide once the bellows itself has hardened.
