Horton Engine Cooling Fan Clutch
The Horton Engine Cooling Fan Clutch is a DriveMaster Advantage air-operated drive designed for heavy-duty diesel engine cooling systems. This air-operated clutch stays disengaged until the engine reaches a specific temperature threshold, at which point it locks the fan to pull cooling air through the radiator. This controlled engagement prevents the engine from wasting horsepower and directly results in better fuel economy and less cab noise. Because the Horton 99A9461 clutch is fail-safe, the internal spring automatically locks the fan in the "on" position if air pressure is lost to protect the engine from overheating.
