Bendix Air Brake Quick Release Valve
Speeding the exhaust of air from brake chambers is the function of the Bendix Air Brake Quick Release Valve. The QR-1C design vents chamber air near the actuator so release does not depend on pushing the entire exhaust volume back through a distant control valve. The Bendix 289714 is the QR-1C version for its corresponding air-brake application. Supply, delivery, balance, and mounting interfaces should be verified against the existing valve because other Bendix quick-release designs can use different plumbing arrangements.
