Anchoring the rear section of the engine assembly to the chassis framework is the Peterbilt Engine Support Bracket. It distributes engine mass across mounting points to reduce localized stress at the rear block interface. Its rigid structure keeps the engine secured during acceleration, deceleration, and load shifts. The bracket controls rear engine positioning so connected components remain aligned during operation. If rear mounting hardware shows fatigue or movement becomes noticeable, the Peterbilt A85-2010-206 restores firm engine attachment to the chassis.
