Fleetguard Fuel Water Separator Cartridge
The Fleetguard Fuel Water Separator Cartridge is a cartridge-style separator element for diesel fuel systems that need dependable water removal. It uses 30-micron cellulose media, which is a practical cut point for pulling free water and larger debris out of the fuel before it reaches finer downstream filtration. Because separator bowls stay wet and see constant temperature cycling, the metal-free element construction helps avoid internal corrosion and keeps the element stable through the service interval. Sized for compatible cartridge housings, the Fleetguard FS20173 seats correctly so sealing and fuel flow stay consistent as contamination loads build. It’s typically installed upstream of secondary fuel filters to reduce the water and debris load that shortens filter life and stresses pumps and injectors.
