Fleetguard Fuel/Water Separator
Cartridge replacement is the defining service feature of the Fleetguard Fuel/Water Separator, because the separator element is renewed without replacing the surrounding chassis-mounted housing. That arrangement makes the 193.6 mm height useful as a housing-fit check for the insert rather than as a spin-on canister dimension. Within the housing, the Fleetguard FS20173 removes water and particulate from diesel as fuel passes through the separator stage. The chassis-mounted context therefore connects cartridge geometry, retained housing, and diesel water separation into one maintenance decision.
