Mack E7 and ASET engines place high demands on oil filtration due to their displacement and soot loading, and the Fleetguard Engine Oil Filter is sized to meet those conditions. This tall spin-on filter replaces the Mack 485GB3232 and provides the media volume required for extended operation in these platforms. Depending on production, the element uses Stratapore or cellulose media formulated to capture contaminants while allowing the oil flow rates needed for lubrication and cooling. The steel shell is constructed to handle the vibration patterns associated with large inline engines without shell deformation. A precision-cut threaded base allows the Fleetguard LF3973 filter to seat evenly against the mounting surface to maintain sealing under normal operating pressure.
