FLEETGUARD AF853 Air Filter, Primary

Manufacturer

FLEETGUARD

Features & Benefits

• Service-stage identity gives technicians a useful check when the housing accepts multiple elements
• Primary-element role separates this replacement from any secondary safety filter in the housing
• Targets engine-air maintenance at the replaceable primary element rather than the housing
• Serves the main intake-filtration stage before air continues toward the engine

Fleetguard Engine Air Filter

If your intake housing uses separate primary and safety elements, the Fleetguard Engine Air Filter is the primary service filter rather than the secondary stage. That distinction matters because replacing the wrong element can leave the actual service item unchanged. The primary-stage role is the key check when your housing also carries a separate safety filter. Matching that service position helps you avoid substituting the wrong stage when you evaluate the Fleetguard AF853.
