Fuel/Water Separator Element
Built for diesel platforms equipped with Paccar MX-13 engines, the Baldwin Fuel Water Separator Filter isolates water before fuel enters high-pressure injection assemblies. Extended interstate operation combined with seasonal climate shifts can generate condensation inside fuel tanks. This separator routes diesel through an internal structure that separates moisture prior to combustion. A height of 274.3 mm corresponds with designated housing clearance in compatible systems, and one O ring is included to assist sealing during installation. Removing water at this stage reduces corrosion exposure inside precision injection components. By limiting moisture carryover during long-haul duty cycles, the Baldwin PF46237 contributes to stable injector performance over time.
