Meritor IAD Differential Case Assembly
The Meritor IAD Differential Case Assembly serves the inter-axle differential case area, where internal components sit inside the carrier and manage power flow between axle sections. The case and nest arrangement forms the structural pocket for the differential components during assembly. In tandem axle service, this area is important because power has to pass through the inter-axle section before reaching the driven axle group. It is used during deeper carrier repair, not quick wheel-end work, and belongs on the bench during axle teardown and reassembly. The Meritor KIT2796 brings the IAD case service pieces together for carrier work.
