Behr Radiator Drain Plug

Coolant flushes and drain-and-fill services are where the Behr Radiator Drain Plug comes in, as the lower drain plug on the radiator. A drain plug is opened at every coolant service, so a worn seal or rounded head can leave the radiator weeping coolant afterward. Replacing it during a coolant service gives the radiator a fresh plug at the lowest point of the tank. Tightening the Behr N4138001 by hand, not with excess force, protects the plastic tank threads many radiators use.
