Chelsea Power Take Off (PTO) Assembly
The Chelsea Power Take Off (PTO) Assembly provides a high-torque power solution for medium-duty trucks equipped with Allison and Ford automatic transmissions. As a 6-bolt Powershift PTO, this 272 Series model utilizes a 12-volt electro-hydraulic shift system, allowing for smooth engagement of hydraulic pumps directly from the cab. The unit is engineered with a rotatable SAE "B" 2-bolt flange and a 7/8" 13-tooth spline, which helps resolve interference issues by allowing the pump to be clocked for better clearance. Built for consistent performance, the Chelsea 272GDHVP-B3RK features an integrated pressure-lube system that circulates transmission fluid through the PTO to prevent overheating.
