Caterpillar A/C Orifice Tube

The Caterpillar A/C Orifice Tube meters refrigerant entering the evaporator through a calibrated 1.194 mm opening. Its brown directional tube measures about 3.5 inches overall with a 10.9 mm outside diameter, so physical size and flow orientation can be checked together during A/C service. Because flow direction matters on this restriction, the Caterpillar 2321384 uses the brown tube as another quick identification cue during service. Matching the brown tube and flow direction matters as much as the size because the restriction has to face the same way as the original part.
