Penray Brake Cleaner
The Penray Brake Cleaner strips brake fluid, grease, and dust from rotors, drums, calipers, and hardware before reassembly. This quick-dry, low-odor formula is non-chlorinated, but at 98% VOC it is not for sale in California, Utah, or the OTC states, so shops there need a compliant alternative. Spraying the Penray 4520 on friction surfaces before new pads or shoes go in keeps contamination from glazing the linings. Brake jobs finish with quieter stops and a cleaner bed-in, and the can travels easily in a toolbox or service truck.
