Dayco Poly Rib Serpentine Belt
The Dayco Poly Rib Serpentine Belt transfers engine rotation to multiple accessory components through the front drive system. As the crankshaft pulley turns, the belt moves across connected pulleys that drive the alternator, compressor, and other engine accessories. This continuous motion allows the accessories to operate while the engine runs. The belt uses EPDM construction combined with aramid reinforcement to handle heat and tension produced in the accessory drive system. Its design follows a K-section cross profile used in many multi-rib belt systems. Engines equipped with serpentine accessory drives frequently utilize the Dayco 5120858 belt within that drive layout.
