Protect exposed trailer electrical terminals with the Phillips Industries Lid Replacement Kit. Designed as a complete lid replacement kit, it includes the metal lid, stainless steel hinge pin, and return spring required to restore proper receptacle protection. Built from zinc die-cast construction, the Phillips Industries 15-796 cover shields 7-way socket contacts from moisture, road spray, and winter de-icing chemicals. The stainless steel spring automatically returns the flap to the closed position when the trailer plug is removed, helping keep contaminants away from lighting and ABS circuit terminals. This direct replacement solution renews damaged or broken receptacle doors without requiring replacement of the entire socket assembly.
