Cat valve guides are used to positively locate the valve so it makes proper contact with the valve seats. Cat valve guides are pressed or integrally casted into the cylinder head. Cat valve guides also serve to conduct heat from the combustion process out from the exhaust valve and into the cylinder head. Cat valve guides are designed for your rugged work environment.
