The Bendix R-6 air brake relay valve works as a remote controlled brake valve designed to deliver or release air to the chambers when control air is delivered to it from the foot brake valve or other source. Because of this critical function, this OEM product is engineered using state-of-the-art technology to ensure maximum performance even under harsh operating conditions.

- Helps speed up the application and release of the air brakes
- Usually mounted at the rear of the vehicle close to the chambers it serves
- Designed to be mounted directly to or remotely from the reservoir, which provides its supply pressure
- Consists of one service port, four delivery ports, and two supply ports
- Offers ease of servicing since it employs an “insert” or “cartridge” type inlet/exhaust valve
