Pad service on a twin-piston disc brake setup starts at the contact surface, and the Meritor Disc Brake Pad Set supplies the friction pieces that press against the rotor during stopping. The FMSI D786A profile and 66mm format help place this set in the correct brake family without adding caliper or rotor work to the job. Each pad works inside the caliper bracket area, where pressure spreads across the friction material and turns wheel rotation into braking force. At the pad replacement stage, the Meritor MMD786A renews the wear surface for the disc brake assembly.
