When the hardware around the shoe remains serviceable, the Bendix Drum Brake Shoe lets the repair concentrate on the lined friction component that contacts the drum. The attached lining provides the working friction surface, while springs, anchors, and other support hardware stay with the existing foundation-brake assembly. At installation, the Bendix 819705N replaces the worn lined shoe while reusable foundation-brake hardware stays in service. Before installation, shoe arc, web form, and lining style should be compared with the removed component because those details can differ even among heavy-duty shoes that look broadly similar.
