Fairchild Vent Window Weatherstrip Kit

The Fairchild Vent Window Weatherstrip Kit restores the sealing material surrounding the movable vent window used on certain Jeep vehicles. This weatherstrip runs along the perimeter where the vent glass meets the surrounding frame, helping reduce outside air and moisture entering the cabin. As the vent window opens and closes, the sealing strip presses against the glass to create a barrier that helps limit wind noise and water intrusion. Over time the original material can wear or shrink, allowing gaps to form around the window edge. Replacing the sealing strip restores the fit between the vent window and the surrounding frame. When servicing Jeep CJ5 models from 1976–1983 and CJ7 models from 1976–1986 with movable vent windows, the Fairchild KD4022 supplies the weatherstrip kit used in those assemblies.
