Mack Fuel Tank Strap Insulator Strip
Fuel tank contact points should never rely on bare metal. The Mack Fuel Tank Strap Insulator Strip helps prevent metal-on-metal wear between tank straps and fuel tanks by providing a protective barrier. Sold by the foot, it can be trimmed to size and fitted under tank straps to reduce vibration, abrasion, and paint loss. The Mack 23254698 is often used during fuel tank replacements or retrofits and helps cut down on creaks or premature strap fatigue caused by friction.
