- Consists of two cylindrical steel stampings welded together and two inlet ports, one reservoir port, and one purge volume port for piping convenience
- With a safety valve mounted on the housing for added protection against excessive pressure build-up
- Has a heater and thermostat assembly (operating range between 45°F and 85°F) that helps prevent freeze-up when used during severe winter
- Offers ease of serviceability since replaceable assemblies can be serviced without the need to remove the air dryer from the vehicle
- Extends the service life of the air brake components
- Helps avoid costly downtime and reduce maintenance costs
