When the steer axle pivot needs a controlled rebuild, the Meritor Steering King Pin Kit brings the pin, composite bushing setup, and double draw key layout together for knuckle service. The king pin works between the axle beam and steering knuckle, letting the wheel end turn while carrying the load through the front corner. Its 1.794-inch diameter and 9.016-inch length give the repair a clear pin size without turning the job into a full knuckle replacement. At the pivot point, the Meritor R201615 restores the turning connection with the required king pin hardware.
