Sheppard Power Steering Gear

The Sheppard Power Steering Gear regulates hydraulic pressure to minimize the arm-pumping effort required to turn the wheels. Encased in a heavy-duty iron housing, this assembly protects the precision internal valves that manage fluid flow during sharp turns. The sector shaft splines are cut to exact tolerances, ensuring the pitman arm locks on solid to eliminate the "slop" found in high-mileage units. Upgraded seals contain the high-pressure fluid within the housing, preventing the messy leaks that coat the frame rail and starve the pump. Every unit is bench-tested to verify it can handle the extreme loads of a Class 8 front axle before it leaves the factory. The Sheppard HD94PN32 steering gear restores the confident road feel you need to keep your rig tracking true in the lane.
