| Good Maintenance Practices - Section 2 - Header | Your A/C system is a sealed system, which includes different components connected by hoses, tubes, or lines. To help the system leak free, inlet and outlet fittings have O-rings or seal washers, and the lines have leak free fittings. To help prevent leaks in the A/C System, follow these guidelines when servicing connections: |
| Product Description | ACDelco Gold (Professional) Condensers are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. These condensers are heat exchangers typically located in front of the engine radiator. Condensers dissipate heat absorbed by the refrigerant from the evaporator and from the compressor to the outside air. Hot refrigerant gas passes through tubes, where heat is removed, causing it to turn into a liquid. The air flowing through the fins then carries the heat away. ACDelco Gold (Professional) parts are manufactured to meet your expectations for fit, form, and function, making them a smart choice for General Motors vehicles, as well as most makes and models, including special applications. These high-quality parts are backed by General Motors. Some ACDelco Gold parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco Professional. ⚠ WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov |
