Automann Body Mount Bushing Assembly
Raw steel alone cannot cushion a cab bolted to the frame rails, a gap the Automann Body Mount Bushing Assembly supplies with a rubber-backed mounting point. Its thick steel plate integrates with a dense rubber or polyurethane cushion, combining structural strength with vibration isolation in a single mounting component. The plate itself bears the clamping load at each bolt, while the cushioned layer keeps that connection from transmitting every bump straight into the cab. Rough roads and rigid frame rails would otherwise send harsh shock directly into the structure above without a buffer at this point. Bolting the body to the frame this way, the Automann M876 dampens the vibration and shock that travel between them.
