  • Reviva replaces with OEM or equivalent pistons; rings; bearings; bushings; gaskets and seals.
  • All heads get new valves and are vacuum tested to ensure the quality of the valve job.

  • All connecting rods are de-magnetized and controlled for length.
  • Connecting rods have new bushings installed and both large and small end are re-machined to OEM specifications.
  • Core plugs are 100% replaced.
  • Blocks; heads; and crankshafts are 100% magnaflux tested to avoid cracked components.
  • Reviva utilizes torque plating methods for boring and honing to ensure block straightness.
  • Cylinder blocks are 100% bored and decked on CNC machining centers.

About This Engine:

A solid, high-torque, low-RPM six-cylinder engine, the Cummins B-Series is found in many over-the-road and industrial applications. Vehicle/Equipment Types:

The Cummins 4B/3.9L engine is found in many step van applications including bread, snack, uniform, and other commercial delivery vehicles. This engine is also used in various industrial and construction applications. In many instances, Pilot Engines can offer a custom engine remanufactured for your vehicle or equipment.

Configurations:

Pilot Engines carries the 4B/3.9L in the following configurations: Dyno-Tested Complete Drop-In and Long Block Supreme (Industrial).

Dyno Test:

All of Revivas Complete Drop-In engines are 100% dyno tested prior to shipment. Computer controls ensure that each engine dyno test is conducted under standard, repeatable settings. Every engine is run through a warm up cycle; three separate segments simulating light, medium and heavy throttle conditions; maximum torque and horsepower tests; both high and low idle tests; and a black light leak detection test with dyed oil, coolant and fuel. Reviva also tests oil and coolant temperature; monitors crankcase pressure, oil and turbo boost pressures; and tests fuel consumption.
